Venus on 1/14/09

This is the only shot I was able to get this evening before the clouds moved in. Venus continues to shine brightly, high in the evening sky, and is getting larger each night in the scope as it continues to wane – it’s just now passing the quarter phase and is starting to become a waning crescent.
